Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g chicken breast (cut into cubes)
  • 4 large tortilla wraps
  • 1 cucumber (grated)
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 100 g red onion (sliced thinly)
  • 50 g feta cheese (crumbled)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Wait until the oil is hot, which takes about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 500 g of cubed chicken breast and sauté for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Stir regularly to ensure even browning.
  3. Add 2 finely chopped garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, salt, and pepper, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix 200 g of Greek yogurt, 1 grated cucumber, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, salt, and pepper to prepare the tzatziki. Stir everything well and set aside.
  5. Place the 4 tortilla wraps on a large plate or work surface. Ensure they are slightly warm to make them more flexible.
  6. Evenly distribute the sautéed chicken mixture onto the tortillas. Then add 100 g of halved cherry tomatoes, 100 g of thinly sliced red onions, and 50 g of crumbled feta cheese.
  7. Spoon a generous dollop of tzatziki onto each tortilla and garnish with fresh parsley to taste.
  8. Fold the tortillas together and serve the wraps immediately while they are warm and fresh. Enjoy!

Keywords: Avoid overcooking the chicken to prevent it from becoming dry. Use a non-stick pan for even browning and consider adding fresh herbs like mint or dill to the tzatziki for extra freshness.
