Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (about 2 medium breasts)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 6 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Marinara sauce or ranch dressing (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and fresh parsley until creamy and well seasoned.
  3. Place a tortilla on a clean work surface. Add about ⅓ cup of the chicken filling to the center of the tortilla, being careful not to overfill.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla towards the center and roll it up from the bottom to form a tight wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  5. In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk. In another bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the grated Parmesan.
  6. Dip each wrap first in the egg mixture and then in the panko mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  7. Place the coated wraps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the wraps for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even browning.
  8. Remove the wraps from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Nutrition

Keywords: Ensure the tortillas are fresh and flexible for easy rolling. Avoid overloading the wraps to prevent them from bursting during baking. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add vegetables for extra nutrition.
